Repurposed a Dell OptiPlex 7010 with Intel i7-3770. Diagnosed a defective SATA port, installed a PCIe SATA expansion card, and configured a ZFS mirrored storage pool using two 1TB drives for redundancy.

Configured static IP addressing at 192.168.86.206/24, DNS, gateway, and SMB service announcements for automatic Windows network discovery via hostname "truenas".

Implemented group-based NFSv4 ACL permissions across three roles: Managers (Full Control), Employees (Modify), and Guests (Read Only). Created 6 user accounts across all groups.
